Shimano's Deore XT M8000 groupset brings with it the ability to run a single chainring up front for a simplified riding experience. Dropping a chain would quickly ruin this experience however, so this advanced 3D Composite carbon / stainless steel chainring uses Shimano's Dynamic Chain Engagement tooth profile that holds onto links 150% better than standard chainrings thanks to its slightly hooked profile.
